The general information about the fond:
The fond of the Department of periodical editions is organized on the basis of the Kazakhstani and Russian newspapers and magazines for the past five years. The frequently requested newspapers for the current month are in open access.
The composition of the fond is disclosed in the registration card-catalogue and the data-base of the current periodical editions.
The department receives the following newspapers and magazines:
The newspapers:
- Kazakhstani (135 titles, the list of newspapers as attachment #1);
- Russian (30 titles, the list of newspapers as attachment #2);
- Kazakhstani (338 titles, the list of magazines as attachment #3);
- Russian (310 titles, the list of magazines as attachment #4). There is the constant exhibition named “The new magazines” which is renewed every week.
There are materials in the fond of the group and simplified processing.
The reader servicing is carried out by the operative issuance from the fond of the department of periodical editions and also the issuance from the main book depositary (requests are implemented in 30-40 minutes). |
