On May 6, 2009 there at the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the ceremony of handing over the books by the General consulate of the Russian Federation in Almaty.

There at the ceremony the word of greeting was delivered by the Director-General of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan O.I.Issakhov.

The General consul of the Russian Federation in Almaty Mr.Meshchaninov Borislav Borisovich in his speech underlined that books are the treasure belonging to the mankind and while handing over the books to the fond of the chief library of Kazakhstan, expressed his belief that this gift would be helpful for the widespreading information about Russia and the propagation of Russian history, science, education and culture.

There at the ceremony were present the readers and workers of the library, and also representatives of mass-media.

On April 29, 2009 there at the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the presentation of the new books by the well-known poet and figure of culture Dyuisenbek Nakipov.

There entered into the book of poems “Vremya Re” seventeen poems and two cycles of essays written during the period of 2001-2008.

The poems “The twins”, “The fall of Bagdad” and “The tales of the eternal marmot” were published in periodical editions and received enthusiastic responses of the well-known writers and critics, including Chingiz Aitmatov, Victor Badikov, Murat Auezov, Anatoliy Kim, Aspan Zhaksylykov, Zhanna Tolysbayeva and others. All the other poems the reader will read for the first time.

The new novel “The shade of the wind” is the continuation of the novel “The circle of ash” and together they constitute the dilogy about the times, people and Almaty city in the period of the stormy 90-ss and up to the end of the XX-th century. The original author’s style, the expressive artistic language and the philosophical aspects of the novel the peer-reviewers evaluate as a new phenomenon in domestic novel-writing. 

There at the presentation the Director-General of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan O.I.Issakhov spoke the introductory word.

The host of the activity was the doctor of science (philology), professor Aslan Zhaksylykov.

Many good wishes and words were expressed to the author of the presented books by the well-known Kazakhstani writers, poets, figures of art and culture M.M.Auezov, K.Bakbergenov, S.Sanbayev, B.Kayirbekov and others.

There during the presentation took place the discussion of the new books and the free exchange of opinions about the creative activity of Dyuisenbek Nakipov.

There for the presentation of the new books of D.Nakipov was organized an exhibition of the author’s books.
