Director-General of the National library of the RK O.Issakhov, First Deputy Director-General of the NLRK G.K.Balabekova, Head of the Department of informational resources K.K.Koshtayeva, Head of the Department of national bibliography A.B.Rakisheva on September 21-23, 2010 participated in the work of the International bibliographical congress which took place in St.-Petersburg (Russia).

The solemn opening of the International bibliographical congress was made by Director-General of the Russian National Library V.N.Zaitsev. There in the opening of the congress participated chairman of the Committee on culture of St.-Petersburg A.N.Gubankov, deputy director of the Department of cultural heritage and fine arts, head of the Department of libraries and archives of the Ministry of culture of the RF T.L.Manilova, the General consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in St.-Petersburg Zh.Kenshimov.

Director-General of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan O.Issakhov made a speech of welcome at the opening of the congress.

First Deputy Director-General of the NLRK G.K.Balabekova prepared a report by the theme “The modern state of the retrospective national bibliography of Kazakhstan” which was delivered by Head of the Department of national bibliography A.B.Rakisheva. Also the Head of the Department of informational resources K.K.Koshtayeva made the report “The formation of informational-bibliographical resources and their use in the process of readers’ servicing”.
