In accordance with the calendar plan of the 20-th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan the National library of the Republic Kazakhstan out of its fonds organized the book-illustrative exhibition named “Ulystyn uly kuni”.

   The exhibition consists of 4 divisions – “Nauryzdyn tarikhy men taglymy” (The history and traditions of Nauryz), “Nauryz meiramy – halykaralyk mereke” (Nauryz – International holiday), “Nauryz meiramyna arnalgan bata-tilek, zhyr tolgaular, olender, ander” (Dedications to Nauryz), “Kazaktyn baiyrgy baspanalary, ulttyk kiyim-keshek, tagamdary” (The traditional dwelling, national clothes and culture of the Kazakhs).
