On March 11, 2011 there took place the presentation of the republican journal “Kazak kyzy” propagating the national values of the Kazakh people.

   The republican journal “Kazak kyzy” is published from October, 2010. the main purpose of the journal as was stated above besides the propagation of national ideology is to pay close attention to the girls’ upbringing. With the oncoming of the global processes there arises the sharp necessity in the upbringing of the youth in the national spirit.

   The journal has the permanent headings: “Ata salt” (The century-old traditions), “Kyzym, sagan aitam” (Daughter, I am speaking to you), “Men izdegen kalyndyk” (The bride I am looking for), “Bilgenge marzhan” (Knowledge is power), “Azharly bolamyn desenyz” (If you want to be beautiful) and others. At the same time there are other headings in the journal “Otkennen onege” (The example from the past), “Arysyn ayalagan asyl zharlar” (The true wives) in which there is widely and fully reflected the life and activity of the women who made a valuable contribution to the social and cultural life of society.

   There in the presentation participated representatives of mass-media, the prominent figures of culture and intelligentsia of the city.
