There in “Kazakhstan kitaptary” department is organized an open access by the theme “Kazirgy Kazak adebiety”.

    The purpose of the organization of the open access is to acquaint the wide circle of readers of the library with the Kazakh literary fiction published during the years of independence of Kazakhstan, to spiritually unite the author and the reader , to be conducive to the formation of youth interest to their native literature. 

     There in open access are presented the publications in literature and literary studies of the Kazakhstani publishing houses frot eh past 10-15 years.

      The literature in open access is situated by the series of the leading publishing-houses:

- the series “Kazaktyn 100 romany”, “Kazirgy kazak poeziyasy” – from “Zhazushy” publishing-house,  the series “Kazirgy kazak prozasy”, “Zhyr zhaukhary”, “Balalar adebiety” – from “Raritet” publishing-house, the series “Altyn kor” – from “Elorda” publishing-house, “Altyn kalam” – from “An-Arys” publishing-house, “Kazirgy Kazak satirasy” – from “Nura-Astana” publishing-house, “Kazirgy kazak dramaturgiyasy” – from “Akarman” publishing-house acquaint readers with the different genres in domestic literature.

   A special place in open access are occupied by the translations of the works of the Kazakh writers into the Russian language, the translations into the Kazakh language of the masterpieces of world literature published by the “Madeni mura” state programme (“Audarma” publishing house).

    The fond of open access includes the series “Kauymdastyk” kitapkhanasy, which presents the works of the Kazakh authors that live abroad. At the present time of great popularity are the six-volume collection of works by K.Shabdanuly and the two-volume collection of works by T.Zholdyuly and they are in this department.
