On February 17, 2011 there at the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the discussion of the Address of the President of the RK N.A.Nazarbayev “Let’s build the future together”. There with the introductory word on the ideological and professional significance of the given activity for the libraries spoke Director-General of the NLRK Orynbassar Issakhovich Issakhov.

   There for the administration and the workers of the library the scientific secretary E.Ismayilov made a detailed report about the notion “Address” and “Appeal” in the world and domestic practice; the continuity and logical sequence of all the 17 Addresses of the President. Especially were noted the priorities and tasks of the 2011 Address in the sphere of education and development of the state language from the point of view of their immediate linkage with the current plans of inculcation of library innovations, the quality formation of the all-national book fond and the prospects of development of librarianship in the republic.

    The results of the discussions of the ideas in the Address of the President of the RK were summarized by Director-General of the NLRK Orynbassar Issakhovich Issakhov.: - “By supporting the constructive great idea which is in this important programme document we in fact thus support and develop our professional competitiveness”.
