On November 26 there at the National library of the RK took place the presentation of the books by the poet Kasymkhan Begmanov – the winner of the prize of the Union of youth of Kazakhstan and the international “Alash” prize, compiled on the basis of the meetings-conversations with the well-known scientist-researcher Zhagda Babalykuly “Etnographpen angime”, “Salty myktynyn – khalky mykty”.

    The book “Etnographpen angime” was published by the “Dastur” publishing house and it comprises the data about the evanescent traditions, customs and rites, history, culture, the primary-ancient words, the national clothes and food, about the animals, the signs and prohibitions, fortune-telling, about the traditions of hunting with the birds of prey, the Kazakh calendar, about the interpretation of night dreams, about the seasons of the year, the genalogy, about the seven treasures, the Kazakh measures for weight, length etc.

    In the second edition of the book “Salty myktynyn – khalky mykty” published by the “Olke” publishing house the author of these meetings-conversations subdividing the materials into several parts and subdivisions offers it all to the readers in the optimally suitable form. The rich content of the book, the easy language, a great quantity of data are conducive to the propagation of the rites and traditions of the Kazakh people.

   There at the presentations the reports were made about the above-mentioned books by the winner of the State prize, the people’s writer of Kazakhstan Kabdesh Zhumadilov, the supplementary report was made by the winner of the high state order “Kyuoman syi” the poet Rafael Niyazbek.

    There in the presentation participated deputy director of the centre for Kazakh studies after Zhagda Babalykuly Bayan Akhmetova, the writer-journalists Zakir Asabayev, Uakap Kydyrkhanuly, the poet Kazhytai Iliyasuly , the academician, doctor of science (philology), professor Tursynbek Kakishev, the scientist-demographer Makash Tatimov and others.
