On April 21 there by the initiative of the National library of the RK took place the council for the discussion of the draft project of “The programme for the library-informational provision of the industrial-innovational development of Kazakhstan for 2012-2014” with the participation of the directors of the Regional Universal Scientific Libraries.

   The council participants adopted the project of “The programme for the library-informational provision of the industrial-innovational development of Kazakhstan for 2012-2014” and expressed their confidence that its implementation would be conducive to the creation in the republic of a highly effective and competitive library industry and would render considerable assistance in the elaboration of the proper decision pertaining to the centralized purchase of the topical literature highlighting the highly technological, science-packed information in the sphere of science, technology, economics and culture. Also the optimum solution for the servicing of dwellers of the distant inhabited settlements which lack stationary libraries would be the inculcation in the RUSLs of mobile moving libraries (the complex of informational-library servicing) equipped with all the necessary technical means and resources for the execution of the functions of modern library.

   The draft project of the given programme has been presented to the Committee of culture of the Ministry of culture of the RK for further support.
