On May 30, 2011 at 11.00 hours there at the National library of the Republic Kazakhstan within the framework of the 20-th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the panel by the theme ”The black and white spots in the historical demography of Kazakhstan”.
There within the framework of the panel took place the presentation and discussion of the new books by the well-known scientist-demographer, doctor of science (politics), academician Makash Tatimov “Zulmat pen zardap” (“The Meshin” annual historical investigation and politological research on the demographical catastrophe). “The Goloshchekin’s specially organized famine” (“The black and white” spots in the historical demography of Kazakhstan) and the study manual in sociology, demography and politology “The globalization of demography” (The socio-political problems of growth and development of the world population). The monographs were published in the Centre for studying world population of the Central-Asian university in Kazakh, Russian and English.
There was also organized the book-illustrative exhibition named “The Demography of Independent Kazakhstan”. |
