On June 7, 2011 at 11:00 hours there at the National library of the Republic Kazakhstan took place the panel by the theme “The creative activity of Dyuisenbek Nakipov within the ciontext of modern literature of Kazakhstan” and also the presentation of the collection of verses named “The lilac at sundown” by the well-known Kazakhstani writer Dyuisenbek Nakipov.

   Dyuisenbek Nakipov is a well-known poet, choreographer-libretto composer, script-writer. He graduated from the Moscow academic choreographic school (1964) and the faculty of journalistics of the Kazakh state university after al-Farabi (1985). In 1964-1986 he was a ballet soloist of the State academic theatre of opera and ballet after Abai, in 1987-1991 – editor of the creative association “Alem” of the “Kazakfilm” studio after Sh.Aimanov. He is chairman of the Union of choreographers of Kazakhstan. He is the organizer of a number of international cultural and humanitarian programmes.

   His first poetical collection named “The evening of the century” saw the light in 1995.

   He is the author of the dilogy, into which there entered two novels “The circle of ash” (2006) and “The shade of the wind” (2009). He is also the author of several collections of verses, from among which a special popularity was attained by the book “The song of the mollusc” (2000). The works of Nakipov received the highest estimated of such masters like Anatoli Kim, Chingiz Aitmatov, Herold Belger.

   There for the activity is timed the book-illustrative exhibition from the fonds of the National library of the RK named “The poet and prosaic of the new millennium”, dedicated to the multi-faceted creative activity of the poet, writer, choreographer-libretto composer Dyuisenbek Nakipov.
