On September 20, 2011 there within the framework of activities timed for the 20-th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan the National library of the RK jointly with “Chevron” company held a panel by the theme “The modern modules of library-informational service for consumers of information in the oil-gas industry”.
The participants shared the experience and opinions in the elaboration of integrated corporate general approaches in the formation of library resources in oil and gas.
There in the work of the panel participated and spoke the representatives of the National library of the RK, “Chevron” company, the International academy of information, the Scientific library of the Academy of sciences of the RK, the Kazakhstani-British technical university, the Kazakh national technical university, the National academic library of the RK, the Central-Asian mining union, the Kazakh institute of oil and gas transportation.
