On November 28, 2011 at 11:00 hours there at the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the ceremony of donation to the fonds of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Central scientific library of the Ministry of education and science of the RK of the rarest facsimile edition of “The manuscript code of Ivan the Terrible”. The unique volume is the gift of the charity foundation named “The Russian society of ancient written literature’ lovers”.

   The activity was opened by Director-General Deputy of the NLRK B.K.Ospanova.

   Several years ago  the charity foundation named “The Russian society of ancient written literature’ lovers” set a goal before itself – to make the Manuscript code accessible for the wide circle of readers. For its implementation the code will be published in 20 volumes. At the present time there have been published 8 of them. These editions have been given over to the fonds of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Central scientific library of the Ministry of education and science of the RK. The representatives of “The Russian society of ancient written literature’ lovers” promised that all the subsequent volumes the main depositary of the country would also get as a gift.

   The honorary mission to donate the gift to the library fell upon the chairman of the Board of “The Russian society of ancient written literature’ lovers” – German Sterligov. German Sterligov is the Russian political and public figure, enterpreneur, manager, one of the first multimillionaires in Russia. He is the creator of the first commodity stock-exchange in Russia named “Alisa” and many other projects. He is chairman of the board of the Group of Companies of German Sterligov. He is the Chairman of the board of  “The Russian society of ancient written literature’ lovers”. He is the founder of the Anti-crisis transaction-commodity centre.
