On December 26, 2011 Director-General of the National library of the RK G.K.Balabekova received the delegation of the Cultural representation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the RK, which was headed by the councillor on culture Asgar Saberi.

   During the meeting there was discussed the development of cooperation between the National library of the RK and the Cultural representation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the RK, the carrying out of joint activities within the framework of the official ten days from February 1 till 12, 2012 timed to the Day of independence of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The guests became acquainted with the activity of the National Republic of the RK (the Rare books and manuscripts department, “Kazakstan kitaptary” department, the Department of world literature, the Dissertations department) and donated the book by M.Kh.Dulati “Tarikhi-i-Rashidi”.
