On January 23, 2012 there at the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan opened the book-illustrative exhibition named “Kakimbek Salykov poeziyasy” dedicated to the 80-th jubilee of the well-known poet, state and public figure of Kazakhstan Kakimbek Salykov.
The exhibition consists of two parts.
The first part “Sara sozdyn sarbazy”presents the works of Kakimbek Salykov: “Syr”, “Mangy shyrak”, “Parasat syry”, “Shyn zhyurekten”, “Oitolgak”, “Syrgaly sonetter” and others, and also the translations into the Kazakh language of the works of A.Pushkin, V.Mayakovski, Ya.Kolas, M.D.Lvov, V.Savelyev and others.
The second part “Sezimge orap, bar syryn ashyk aitkan” presents the recollections about the creative activity of K.Salykov of the poets and writers of Kazakhstan: Galym Zhailybai, Tumanbai Moldagaliyev, Akim Tarazi, Serik Kirabayev and many others.
Salykov Kakimbek (1931) – a poet, state and public figure, honorary worker of Kazakhstan. In 1955 graduated from the Moscow institute of non-ferrous metals and gold. In 1955-1991 was the mining master, secretary of the party committee of the Zhezkazgan mining-metallurgical factory, then the 1-st and 2-nd secretary of the Zhezkazgan regional committee of the communist party of Kazakhstan, 1-st secretary of the Karakalpak regional committee of the communist party of Uzbekistan, chairman of the Committee on the issues of ecology and rational use of natural resources.
He has been awarded by the order of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Parasat”, the orders of the USSR – the Lenin order, “Friendship of peoples”, twice by the order of the Labour Red Banner and by medals. |
