There at the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan timed to the Day of Independence has been organized the jubilee book-illustrative exhibition named “Independent Kazakhstan: 20 years of peace, concordance and creativity”.

   The exhibition presents 3500 editions in the Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages.

   The exhibition consists of 3 large-scale divisions: “Nursultan Nazarbayev – First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “Astana – Otanymyzdyn zhuregi”, “Menin Kazakhstanym”.

   There in the division “Nursultan Nazarbayev – First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan” are presented the books, reports and speeches, addresses and messages, congratulations, interviews and articles of N.Nazarbayev. Among them are the works of the President published in different years: “Without the rightists and leftists”, “5 years of independence”, “At the threshold of the XXI century”, “In the flow of history”, “In the heart of Eurasia”, “The way of Kazakhstan”, “The critical decade” and others. 

   The division “Astana – Otanymyzdyn zhuregi” is dedicated to the past, present and future of the principal city of the country – Astana which is the symbol of independence. 

   The division “Menin Kazakhstanym” is dedicated to the sovereign Kazakhstan. Here is presented literature on the history of formation and development of our state. Among the documents are encyclopaedias, albums, books.
