On April 18, 2012 at 11:00 hours there at the National library of the RK took place the presentation of the collections of “Sholpan” magazine (1922-1923) and “Ak zhol” newspaper (1920-1926).

   The moderator of the activity was the compiler of the collections, director of the Southern-Kazakhstani regional Museum of victims of the political repressions Khanbibi Esenkarayeva.

   There at the presentations spoke the leading scientists-historians Mambet Koigeldiyev, Tursynbek Kakishev  and many others. The speakers expressed their opinion about the historical significance of these periodical editions.

  Kh.Esenkarayeva informed also about the continuation of these editions and the preparation for publication of a 3-volume collection. There at the presentation was demonstrated a fragment from the documentary film “Kosh” by E.Rakyshev.

   There in the activity participated prominent scientists, family members of repressed political figures, the students of the faculties of history of higher educational establishments, librarians of the republican libraries, libraries for children’s and youth, libraries of the higher educational establishments.
