On May 3, 2012  at 15:00 hours there at the National library of the Republic Kazakhstan in the Greater hall will take place the musical evening dedicated to the centenary of the renowned Kazakh singer, the founder of Kazakh opera art of Kazakhstan, honored artiste of the Kazakh SSR, people’s artist of the USSR Kulyash Baiseyitova. This activity is held within the framework of “Inzhu-Marzhan” club at the Arts department of the National library of the RK.

   Kulyash Baiseyitova (1912-1957) – the renowned Soviet opera singer (the lyrical-coloratura soprano), dramatic actress, who left a bright trace in the musical art of the XX-th century. The talent of Kulyash Baiseyitova is multilateral. She is the splendid performer in musical-dramatic plays, the first Kazakh professional opera and prima concert singer of the republic. Thanks to Kulyash the Kazakh people came to know the world opera classics and folk music of foreign countries. The entering into world cultural environment the compatriots of Kulyash connect with her personality. Her voice – clear and flying with the characteristic national timbre so accustomed to the Kazakh steppe, managed to make the music alien and unknown so dear and understandable to the Kazakh people.

   There were named after K.Baiseyitova the Republican specialized secondary musical school for gifted children and a street in Almaty city. In the capital of our republic in Astana city the National theatre of opera and ballet is named after K.Baiseyitova. Beginning from 1980 there is annually held the Republican competition of vocal performers after K.Baiseyitova.

   There is organized within the framework of the activity the book-illustrative exhibition “Kazaktyn bulbuly, onerdyn dulduli” about the life and creative activity of Kulyash Baiseyitova.

   The moderator of the evening will be the well-known writer, awarded with the “Kurmet” order, Beksultan Nurzhekeyev.

   There will participate in the evening the daughters of the legendary singer Kulyash Baiseyitova Karlygash and Raushan Baiseyitovs, the people’s artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurgali Nusipzhanov, the opera singers Dina Khamzina, Zhupar Gabdullina, the known modern singers of Kazakhstan: Sembek Zhumagaliyev, Zhanar Aitzhanova, Miras and Kuralai, Kurmanbek and Riza, Tamara Asar, Takhmina Ashimbekova.
