On may 25, 2012 at 15.00 hours there at the exhibition hall of the National library of the Republic Kazakhstan took place the panel in the discussion of the fifth book of the novel cycle “The night dreams of the accursed” – “The return” by the academician of the International academy of information, doctor of science (philology), professor of the KazNU after al-Farabi Aslan Zhaksylykov.

   Zhaksylykov A.Zh. – a literary-study specialist, prosaic, author of more than 150 scientific and literary works, including novels, monographs, text-books, scientific-popular books.

   The novel cycle “The night dreams of the accursed” published in full volume in 2005, reflects in expressive form the existential and philosophical problems of war in the history of mankind.

    In the four cycles of the novel “The singing stones”, “The night dreams of the accursed”, “The other ocean”, “The house of the surikat” there within the framework of the expressive narration is disclosed the theme of the atomic polygons on the territory of Kazakhstan, there is depicted the fate of a group of children, growing in the isolation of conditions of a military forlorn town. In the novel philosophical by genre there are existentially and grotesquely exacerbated the problems of war and arms in the history of mankind, there are disclosed the mythological aspects of the psychology of war in the mentality of people.

    The novel “The return” is the continuation of these works.

    The moderator of the panel was the well-known cultural-study specialist, poet, translator, candidate of science (philosophy) Auezkhan Kodar.

    There in the discussion of the novel participated Berik Dzhilkibayev, Dyuisenbek Nakipov, Olga Abisheva, writers and literary critics.
