A  musical  evening, devoted  to  100–th anniversary  of the  founder  of  Kazakh  stage  dance, musical  theatrical  art of Kazakhstan,  the national and honoured  artist of the Kazakh SSR, pedagogue  Shara  Zhienkulova   took place  in the Big Hall on  October  3, 2012 at 12.00.

   The  event was conducted within the framework  of the Club  “Inzhu-marzhan”  in the  department  of  Art  of the National library of the RK.

   The book-illustrative exhibition  “The Queen  of  Kazakh dance” about  Sh.Zhienkulova’s  life and creative activity  was organized  in the framework of  this event.  The presentation of the recommendational  bibliographical  index  “Shara Zhienkulova  (1912-1991)”, made by the  National library of  the RK  took  place  as well.

   The holder of the order “Kurmet,”  honoured  worker of the RK Sh. Kumarova, Doctor of science (technology), Professor, President of the Kazakh  engineering, finance-bank Academy  S.A.Zhienkulov, the first pupil of Shara  Zhienkulova  honoured  pedagogue K.N.Beisenova, Shara Zhienkulova’s niece K.Sh.Diyarova  shared memories  about the great dancer.

   The musical evening  ended in performances by the students from the choreographic college: T.Kozhaeva, I.Gairatov, T.Kan,  the Director of the  centre of Indian  classic  dance  A.Kainazarova, the actor of the Drama Theatre  after  M.Auezov  U.Seitimet, the student of the Musical College after  Tchaikovsky  A.Zhanabaev.

  Shara  Zhienkulova’s  relatives,  pupils, figures of art, students from Institutes, readers and librarians of Almaty  took part in this event.
