On October 18, 2012 at 10-00 hours there at the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the presentation of editions of the publishing house Oxford University Press and the trends of activity of the subscription agency the closed joint-stock company “KONEK” “The scientific information in the data-bases of foreign publishing-houses: the modern forms and modern technologies”.

   Marcin Dembowski, the representative of Oxford University Press, made the presentation “The electronic resources of the publishing house of Oxford university: the universal content and optimal search. Books, magazines, dictionaries, reference resources”.

   The oldest academic publishing house Oxford University Press has the authority in the international, university and library sphere. Today the scientific books and magazines, reference and study materials are used by educators and students of the biggest study establishments of the world, readers of a great number of libraries in different countries. Physicists, mathematicians, translators, philologists, linguists, historians – all of them can find necessary information in different electronic resources of this publishing house. The authors are the prominent scientists known all over the world. The editions are aimed at the international standards of education.
