On September 24 at 15:00 hours there in the hall of world literature of the National library of the RK took place the celebration dedicated to the 200-th anniversary of the Patriotic war of 1812. The acvitity was organized with the support of the General consulate of the Russian Federation in Almaty city and representation of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The holiday opened with the literary composition “Borodino” performed by the artists of the State academic theatre of Russian drama for children and youth after N.Sats. The word of greeting was spoken by the General consul of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kazakhstan V.A.Zavyalov, the consul of the General Consulate of the Russian Federation in the RK I.V.Pereverzeva, deputy Director-General of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Kh.Yusupova.
The general consul V.A.Zavyalov awarded the winners of the literary-historical competition “The year 1812” – the pupils of secondary schools and gimnasiums of Almaty city. The word was also given to the head of the department of world literature and international relations of the Institute of literature and art after M.O.Auezov S.V.Ananyeva and the chairman of the committee of veterans of the Great Patriotic war and the armed forces of the RK, the captain of the first rank K.O.Zhanpeyisov.
The guests and readers of the library could become acquainted with the book-illustrative exhibitions “The 200-th anniversary of the Patriotic war of 1812 (the battle of Borodino)” and “L.N.Tolstoi. The novel “War and peace” prepared by the National library of the RK.
In the course of the activity there were donated to the National library of the RK from the General consulate of the Russian Federation new books.
At the celebration there were present the teachers and students of institutes (the Kazakh National University after al-Farabi, the Kazakh National Pedagogical University after Abai, the Almaty Russian Orthodox Church spiritual seminary etc.), workers of scientific establishments, readers and workers of the libraries. |
