On September 14, 2012 at 11-00 hours there at the National library in the department “Kazakstan kitaptary” took place the opening of the Depositary of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, organized with the assistance of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of Almaty city.

   The presentation of the Depositary was opened by first deputy Director-General of the NLRK B.K.Ospanova.

   There spoke: head of the Department for the development of languages, archives and documentation of Almaty city M.K.Akhetov, head of department of culture of the magazine “Prostor” L.K.Shashkova, deputy chairman of the Assembly of the people of  Kazakhstan A.M.Karapetyan and others.

   The speakers congratulated the citizens of Kazakhstan and the readers of the library with the opening of the Depositary of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, with the possibility via the book and other sources of information to become acquainted with the history and modern life of the ethnic minorities and expressed their opinion on the necessity of preservation of inter-national inter-confessional concord, stability in society and development of friendly relations between representatives of different nationalities living on the territory of Kazakhstan.

   There at the opening ceremony were present representativesof the akimat of the Bostandyk district, the Institute of philosophy, politology and religion-study of the Ministry of education and science of the RK, heads of the republican and city ethnic-cultural associations of Almaty city, students from institutes, readers of the National library of the RK, mass-media etc.

    There in the Greater hall of the National libraqry of the RK in honour of the opening of the Depositary of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, took place the concert of prominent Kazakhstani performers and creative collectives of the national cultural centres of Almaty city.
