The evening of memory, devoted to 100-th anniversary of the national actor of Kazakhstan, Laureate of the State award Kamal Karmysov will take place in the Exhibition hall of the National library of the RK on 21 of December 2012 at 15 o’clock.
The event is being conducted within the frameworks of Club “Inzhu-Marzhan” in the Department of Art of the National library of the RK.
Kamal Karmysov was born in 1912 in Zhambyl district, Almaty region. He entered the Economy faculty of Middle Asian University in Tashkent city in 1929. In 1930 he was sent to Ridder for organization of the Theater for young workers. In 1931 he was accepted in the troupe of Kazakh State Drama Theatre, which he devoted to all his creative life. The actor created the gallery of remarkable types in performances on classics’ works of World, Russian and Kazakh dramaturgy. He succeeded in the most extremely-characteristic and satirical roles. Among the best roles are Nurkan (“Nocturnal rumbling” of M.Auezov), Khlestakov (“Auditor” of N.Gogol), Tulegen Tokhtarov (“Guard of Honour” of M. Auezov and A. Abishev), Serdaly ( “Akhan-sere and Aktokty” of G.Musrepov), Tranio (”Taming of the Shrew” of W.Shakespeare ), Zharas (“Aiman and Sholpan” of M.Auezov) and others. Since 1945 he had been acting in films: “Songs of Abai”, “Poem about love”, “The daughter of steppes”, “Our nice doctor” and others.
He was awarded by the Order of the USSSR “Badge of Honour,” of the Red Banner and the Peoples’ Friendship.
The moderator of the evening will be the Honoured Art Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, theatre critic, Professor Ashirbek Sygai.
Book-illustrative exhibition “Tarlan talent” about K. Karmysov’s life and creation has been organized within the frameworks of the event.
Children of Kamal Karmysov, workers of art, students and readers are taking part in the event.
