   On February 27, 2013 at 14:00 hours there in the Exhibition hall of the National library of the RK took place the presentation of the book “The choreographers of Kazakhstan”.

   The Union of choreographers of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of culture and information of the RK and the National library of the RK presented to the creative public the book named “The choreographers of Kazakhstan” (the illustrated informational guide).

   In the given book, written in the form of an encyclopaedic reference work, for the first time there is presented the history of development of national ballet art beginning from 1934. There was carried out great work for the systematization of the history of development of ballet art in Kazakhstan. An interested reader can find in it exact data of all the ballet plays, and also brief creative biographies of the leading figures of ballet in the past and up to the present time. There entered into the book the histories of establishment of all the main ballet troops, like for instance the State academic theatre of opera and ballet after Abai, the National theatre of opera and ballet after K.Baiseyitova, the National theatre of classic dance under the leadership of B.G.Ayukhanov, and also the ensembles of folk dance and troops of modern choreography of Kazakhstan. There are highlighted all the genres and trends of dancing art, and also there is described the contribution of concrete personalities, who laid the basis of the ballet art and domestic choreographic education. It is thought, that for the first time the fans of ballet and art critics will receive authentic information about the stages of development of domestic choreography.

   The moderator at the presentation was the well-known poet, choreographer-librettist, script-writer Dyuisenbek Nakipov.

   There at the presentation spoke and shared their opinions the well-known figures of ballet art of Kazakhstan, such as Lyudmila Nikolayeva, Adolf Artsishevskiy, Asel Musina, Natalya Gudochkina, Aliya Shankibayeva and others.

   The participants of the presentation were: the well-known choreographers of Kazakhstan, public figures, art critics, fans of ballet art and also the readers of the National library of the RK and mass-media representatives.
