On April 10, 2013 at 15:00 hours there in the Exhibition hall took place the solemn opening of the book-illustrative exhibition “Rukhy byik nar tulga” dedicated to the centenary of the prominent state and public figure Fazyl Karibzhanov and the presentation of the book “The famous son of Kazak land”.

   The organizers: The Ministry of culture and information of the RK, the National library of the RK, the relations of Fazyl Karibzhanov.

   The life of F.Karibzhanov was short – only 48 years but it was bright and rich in events. The biography of Karibzhanov is the biography of the country. He lived through the hard 1920-s and 30-s, worked in the rear during the Great Patriotic war, participated in the post-war reconstruction of the national economy, raised among the others the virgin land in Kazakhstan.

   He passed the way up from the ordinary agronomist to the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR, deputy of the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. He was a high specimen of how one is to service his own Kazakh people.

   There at the exhibition “Rukhy biyk nar tulga” is presented literature about the life and activity of Fazyl Karibzhanov from the fond of the National library of the RK and materials from the family archives. There were exposed more than 150 printed and periodical editions.

   There within the framework of the exhibition also took place the presentation of the book “The famous son of Kazak land” dedicated to the centenary of the prominent state and public figure of Kazakhstan Fazyl Karimovich Karibzhanov.

   There into the given book entered the recollections of comrades, friends, relations and near ones, and also the verses and poems dedicated to him. They all narrate about the life and labour activity of F.K.Karibzhanov.

   We are sure that readers will meet the book with great interest, because the man, about whom the book is, was always surrounded by people who felt for him great love and gratitude and in return he expressed sincere respect and nobleness of the soul. The book is designed for a wide circle of readers and may be of use to all who are interested in the history of Kazakhstan.

   The moderator of the evening was Aldazhumanov Kaidar Seisembayevich, candidate of science (history), the chief scientific worker of the Institute of history and ethnology after Ch.Ualikhanov.

   There at the presentation spoke: the state and public figure, poet Salykov Kakimbek Salykovich; the state and public figure, academician of agricultural sciences, doctor of science (philology), professor Kenzhebayev Sagyndyk Djunusovich, academician of the National Academy of sciences, doctor of science (economics), professor Koshanov Amanzhol Koshanovich, academician of the National Academy of sciences, doctor of science (law), professor Sartayev Sultan Sartayevich, the elder son of Fazyl Karibzhanov Karibzhanov Oleg Fazylovich, professor of science (history) Kudaibergenov Adilkhan Nurgaliyevich, regional study specialist, professor of the Kazakh National pedagogical university after Abai Urashev Sultan Ayipovich, the daughter-in-law of Fazyl Karibzhanov, candidate of science (history), assistant-professor Karibzhanova Ekaterina Alexandrovna, the state and public figure Karibzhanov Zhanybek Salimovich, doctor of science (pedagogics), professor of the Kazakh National pedagogical university after Abai Shakhanova Rozalinda Ashirbayevna. The speakers noted the great merits and role of F.Karibzhanov in the development of the economy of Kazakhstan.

   There in the presentation participated the well-known academicians, public figures, writers, students from the higher educational establishments, librarians of Almaty city, children and nephews, mass-media representatives.
