There in the Department of world literature is organized the book exhibition of new literature in medicine and related disciplines named “Salamatty Kazakstan” dedicated to the Day of medical worker.

   The Day of medical worker is celebrated according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A.Nazarbayev dated November 15, 2003. Annually the President and the Government cordially congratulate the doctors and medical workers with the professional holiday and thank them because at the most crucial moments they come to render help and save the lives of the Kazakhstanis. The Day of medical worker is celebrated not only by the medical personnel but by all those who have any relation to the rescuing of human lives – engineers and technologists, who create the new medical and diagnostic equipment, also the chemists, biologists, laboratory, sanitary workers and others.
   Today the profession of doctor is needed everywhere. The modern health-care and the efforts of doctors are directed not only upon the support and the prophilactics of human health but also upon human longevity.
   There at the book exhibition are presented more than 200 new books in medicine, pharmacology, bio- and nanotechnologies, and also literature about the latest achievements in the world and Russian medical science that came to the fond of the National library of the RK in the past two years.
