On July 21 at 16:00 hours there in the Exhibitions hall took place the meeting between the collective and the deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Committee on international affairs, defence and security, chairman of the Public council for the provision of legality of the Main military prosecuting magistracy, leutenant-general, doctor of science (history), professor Tasbulatov Abai Bolekbayevich.

   First Deputy-Director of the National library of the RK B.K.Ospanova briefly acquainted him with the activity of the library. The deputy of the Majilis A.B.Tasbulatov in his speech touched upon a lot of issues, including patriotism and responsibility, the activity of the Parliament and the work of the Committee on international affairs, defence and security.
   Also there were discussed the topical problems of the library.  The chairperson of the trade-union organization of the library G.D.Usenova raised the social questions of the workers and asked for assistance in the solution of the housing problems.
   The head of the scientific-methodological service K.K.Koshtayeva expressed her opinion about the project of the Programme on cultural policy, also paying attention to the state of the rural libraries of the republic and their financing.
   At the end of the meeting A.B.Tasbulatov thanked the workers of the library for their work and wished them further successes.
