On September 12, 2014 at 15:00 hours there in the Exhibitions hall took place the session of the public council «Miras» on the issues of development of culture and art at the Almaty city afficliate of the party “Nur Otan” by the theme “Almaty – ulttyk oner men madeniyettyn mayegi”.

   There at the session of the council were discussed the topical problems of national values, the concrete steps and the work done in the preservation and development of culture abd art, historical everyday life and literature, education and science, national spirit and spiritual upbringing in the historical development of our country, and also some issues of state significance.
   The moderator was Director-General of the National library of the RK, winner of the State prize of the RK, honoured figure of Kazakhstan, writer Alibek Askar.
   There at the activity spoke: first deputy-chairman of the Almaty city affiliate of the party “Nur Otan”, deputy chairman of the city public union “Miras”, doctor of sceince (philology) K.I.Matyzhanov; rector of the Kazakh state women’s pedagogical university, member of the Political union of the Almaty city affiliate of the party “Nur Otan” D.Zh.Nuketayeva; writer, doctor of science (pedagogics), candidadte of science (medicine), scientist-medic, honoured figure of the RK S.G.Gabbasov; poet, Director-General of the joint-stock company “Kazak encyclopaediyasy”, doctor of science (philology), corresponding member of the National academy of sciences of the RK B.O.Zhakyp; Director-General of the Kazakhstani authors’ community, honoured figure of the RK, winner of the prize “Daryn” B.M.Esenaliyev and others.
   The participants: public figures, writers, librarians of Almaty city.
