On October 31, 2014 the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan on a working visit was visited by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Shaukat Ali Mukadam and the commercial director of the Embassy Adil Khan Miankel.

   During the visit there took place the meeting with Director-General of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Alibek Asylbayevich. There within the framework of the meeting were carried out negotiations about the further plans of cooperation in the cultural-humanitarian sphere, for the activation and development of the activity of the Book corner of Pakistan. There were considered proposals for the organization of joint mass activities, exchange of experience and probations of the library specialists of both countries. On behalf of the Embassy of Pakistan there were donated a new computer and a printer for the successful work of the Book corner of Pakistan. There for the guests was acrried out an acquainting excursion around the National library, during which Mr. Shaukat Ali Mukadam became acquainted with the activity of the library and he highly appreciated the work carried out by it for the widening and development of the international cultural relations.
