On October 15, 2015 from 10:00 to 13:00 there in the Library studies hall took place the Day of open doors under the motto “My profession – My pride” dedicated to the Day of the libraries of Almaty city.

   The Day of the libraries of Almaty city is established to take place and to be celebrated annually on October 15 in accordance with the Decree of the Akim of Almaty city dated September 29, 2009 № 894.
   There for the holiday of the city librarians was organized an exhibition on which there are presented the methodological literature giving full reference information on librarianship and also foreign editions by the given thematics.
   During the activity there wad held a Panel for the exchange of experience and opinions about the problems of librarianship and the most experienced librarians told the audience about the modern ways of their work.
   There for the visitors was organized an acquainting excursion around the departments and services of the National library.
