On January 14, 2016 Brigadier and Defence Attache of the Embassy of Pakistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Shahid Jawad Khan visited the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the working visit.

   During the visit there took place the meeting with Director-General of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Alibek Asylbayevich. There within the farmework of the meeting took place negotiations where there were raised the issues of business cooperation, development of the activity of the Book Corner of Pakistan. There were discussed the proposals for the publication of Pakistani books in the Kazakh language.

   Shahid Jawad Khan noted the modern approach in the activity of the National library of the RK, in the servicing of readers, the opulence of the book collections and the aligned work of the collective of the library.
