On January 22, 2016 at 10.30 hours there at the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the solemn opening of the book exhibition “Tauyelsyz Kazakstanga – 25 zhyl” and the round table “Tauyelsizdyk – ulttyk rukhy”, organized together with the Council of veterans of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

   The purpose of the activities is the upbringing of patriotism and civil responsibility, of the feeling of national pride to the own Motherland of the younger generation, to make the young people come to love labour and come to know the values of independence.
And also the propagation and popularization of the books narrating about the history of establishment of independence, the social-economic development, successes and achievements of the country. The book exhibition consists of 13 sections with 3500 editions in the Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages from the fond of the library presented at it.

   The book exhibition was opened by Director-General of the National library of the RK, writer Alibek Askar.

   There spoke: deputy of the Parliament of the RK Bakytbek Smagul, professor Dandai Yskak, on behalf of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan – chairman of the Ossetian cultural centre “Irnykhas” Mamsurov Kazbek. The poetess Arzygul Kaiynbekkyzy played a special tribute on the dombra.

   There in the activity participated: deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, public figures, writers and mass-media representatives, students of colleges and universities.
