On January 26, 2016 at 15:00 hours there in the Great hall took place the activity named “The Great Silk Way – the Day of Chinese Culture” organized by the Consulate-General of the Chinese People’s Republic in Almaty and the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
   Kazakhstan and China being good neighbours along the Great Silk way, always remain close partners  in the cultural exchange.
Today when the relations between the two countries are undergoing the best period during the whole history of development, the desire of the peoples of the two countries to come to know each other better grows stringer each day.
   In this connection the Consulate-General of the Chinese People’s Republic in Almaty and the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan carried out the activity “The Great Silk Way – the Day of Chinese Culture”.The organizers set before themselves the task to show to the Kazakhstani public the genuine traditional Chinese culture, in future to strengthen the friendship and mutual understanding between the brotherly peoples of the two countries.

 

   There with the greeting spoke Director-General of the National library of the RK Askar Alibek.
   There spoke: the Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Almaty Zhan Wei and the First Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the PRC, the prominent public and state figure, cultural expert Auezov Murat Mukhtarovich.
   There within the framework of the activity the Consulate-General presented gifts to the library.
   After the activity there took place the concertby the figures of art from the Chinese city of Tiangzing and the demonstration of the Chinese feature film “The sword of the dragon”.
