On May 4, 2016 the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan was visited by the First Permanent Representative of the RK in the United Nations’ Organization A.Kh.Arystanbekova.

   Akhmaral Khaidarovna donated to the fond of the library the jubilee edition of an album published for the 70-th anniversary of foundation of the UN named “Obyedinennym natsiyam – 70!. Momenty i vekhi”. There are presented in the book the unique photo-materials, there is given chronologically the history of creation and the activity of the United Nations Organization. In the world literature department there are stands of the permanently used exhibition dedicated to the activity of the UNO where one can become acquainted with the given album and with other materials too.
   The visit took place in the warm and friendly atmosphere.
