On June 13, 2016 the National library of the RK was visited for acquaintance purposes by vice-speaker of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Vladimir Bozhko.

   During the visit V.K.Bozhko became acquainted with the activity of the Depositary of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of Almaty city. The leadership of the National library of the RK presented to the guest the book-illustrative exhibition named “Tauyelsizdik – tengigym, egemendik - eldigym”, dedicated to the 25-th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and they told him about the activity of the National library of the RK in the implementation of the state programme “Mangilik El”. 

   The guests visited the other reading halls, became acquainted with the work of the Book corners of Russia, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and India in the hall of world literature and with the work of the Dissertations’ hall.
