   On June 8 at 11:00 hours there in the exhibitions’ hall took place the presentation of the photo-exhibition “Resistance without boundaries. The Soviet guerillas in Italy”, dedicated to the 75-th year from the beginning of the Great Patriotic war (1941-1945).

   The activity was organized together with the General consulate of the Russian Federation in Almaty city and the representation of “Rossotrudnichestvo” in the Republic of Kazakhstan. 
   The exhibition of photographs “Resistance without boundaries. The Soviet guerillas in Italy” narrates about one of the most interesting but little known pages of the heroic struggle of the Soviet people against fascism.    
   Director of the National library of the RK Zh.T.Seidumanov spoke a word of greeting.
   The moderator at the activity was the representative of “Rossotrudnichestvo” of the RF in the RK, consul of the General consulate of the Russian Federation in Almaty city I.V.Pereverzeva. The Italian guest, pedagogue Erica Leoni told the audience about the role of
the Soviet guerillas in the liberation of Italy. The activity was visited by the general consul of Italy in Almaty city Pietro Kala.
   There for the participants of the evening was presented the documentary film about Vladimir Pereladov and his contribution in the creation of the Guerilla republic of Montefiorino.
   Vladimir Pereladov was the Soviet officer, participant of the Resistance, commander of the Russian storm battalion. Entering the people’s volunteer corps in July, 1941, he was the commander of the 45-mm anti-tank guns of the 21-st shooter regiment of the Bauman district of the 7-th division of the people’s volunteer corps of Moscow city, he was taken prisoner of war under Vyazmya, from which he escaped in Italy from the fourth attempt with the help of the local residents. Beginning from March, 1944 V.Pereladov is the commander of the Russian guerilla detachment formed by him, which comprised more than 100 Soviet citizens. He wrote the book named “The notes of the Russian Garibaldi fighter” about his fight with the enemy.
   There in the evening participated: K.V.Mansurov – the head of the Ossetian centre of culture of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in Almaty city, the veterans and participants of the Great Patriotic war and the labour front, the historians, representatives of the libraries of Almaty city and the Archives of the President of the RK, students and others.
