On January 31, 2017 there in the cinema club of Ermek Tursynov took place the retro-demonstration of the feature film «Kokserek/Lyutyi” shot after the story of Mukhtar Auezov.
The Kazakhstani film “Kokserek/Lyutyi” produced by “Kazakhfilm” was released in 1973, director: Tolomush Okeyev, the main roles in it were performed by Kambar Valiyev, Suimenkul Chokmorov, Aliman Djangorozova, Kargynbai Satayev, Nurzhuman Yikhtymbayev and others. The film was awarded the first prize, the prize for the performance of the masculine role (S.Chokmorov) and the complimentary diploma for the performance of the child’s role (K.Valieyv) at the all-Union cinema festival in 1974 in Baku city and also by the honorary diploma at the 27-th cinema festival in Lokarno (1974).
The feature film “Kokserek” was demonstrated in the new color format. Although than 40 years have gone by since the release of the film, it still evokes emotions and mixed feelings of the grown-ups as well as children. After the completion of the film the well-known director, scenario-writer and writer Ermek Tursynov narrated about how the film was shot and answered the questions of those present. It is to be mentioned that the retro-demonstration took place thanks to the initiative of Ermek Tursynov and his producer Kanat Sygai.
