On January 13, 2017 National library of the RK with the working visit was visited by deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the RK N.G.Mikaelyan  and the heads of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of Almaty city M.A.Abdaliyeva and K.V.Mamsurov.

   During the visit the guests became acquainted with the activity of the Depositary of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of Almaty city. They also visited the memorial cabinets of the well-known Kazakhstani writers G.Belger and A.Nurshayikhov, the Hall of culture and literature of China, the Hall of rare books and manuscripts. They became acquainted with the work of the Centre for the digitization of documents, equipped with the modern equipment  for the full-scale digitization of the book fond, the Book corners of Russia, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and India in the hall of world literature.
   During the meeting there were discussed the topical problems of development of librarianship in Kazakhstan and proposed the Plan of work for 2017 with the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of Almaty city.
