On January 24, 2017 there in the Hall of world literature took place the ceremony of donation of books for the Book corner of Russia from the General consulate of the Russian Federation in Almaty city and the Representation of “Rossotrudnichestvo” in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

   The annual traditional transference of the new collection of books for the Book corner of Russia is timed to the Day of St.Tatjana, which is marked in Russia on January 25 as the Day of Russian students.
   There were donated to the library approximately 165 copies of editions on the Russian language, literature, history of Russia, novels, short stories and other fiction. There within the donated collection is its “zest”, which are the books from the series named “The trial processes of Russia” on the jurisprudence  by the requests of the readers of the corner, 7 volumes from the works of V.M.Shukshin and many others.
   There at the activity spoke: director of National library of the RK Zh.T.Seidumanov, General consul of the Russian Federation in Almaty city A.M.Demin, deputy head of the representation of “Rossotrudnichestvo” in the Republic of Kazakhstan I.V.Pereverzeva, deputy director of the library A.Kh.Yussupova, and also the guests and permanent readers of the library.
