On September 19, 2017 there at the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan there for the 75-th birthday of Dukenbai Doszhan, the Kazakh writer-prosaist , the winner of State wprize of the Republic of Kazakhstan National library of the RK organized the exit book exhibition.

   The master of intellectual picturesque prose Dukenbai Doszhan is the author of more than forty books: novels, short novels, stories, essays published in 19 languages of the peoples of the world.
Dukenbai Doszhan is the author of the biographies about Abai, Mukhtar Auezov, Iliyas Esenberlin from the series “The life of wonderful people” in the form of novels, of the historical novel “The Silk Way”, the novel-chronicle about the bloody December events of 1986 in Almaty city named “The square”, the novel-revelation about the spiritual ecology of the modern compatriots named “The scales”. He wrote the novelsabout the historical past of the ancient cities Otrar, Turkestan, Sauran, about the Oriental thinker Abu-Nasyr al Farabi. The novels “Revenge”, “The river of life”, “The threashold” are deducated to the everydat life of the aul,
the people of labour of the 60-70-s: the herdspeople, rice-growers, ordinary peasants.
   The works of D.Doszhan  are marked with the unique vision of the world and the deepened studying of the secrets of human nature.His book “Ak Orda” is dedicated to First President of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev. In it there is narrated about the important historical events of the republic, there is meditated upon the role of President in the life of the country. Dukenbai Doszhan died on September 16, 2013.
   There at the book exhibition out of the fond of National library of the RK were presented materials about the life and creative activity of Dukenbai Doszhan, his works, translations, his works in foreign languages, recollections and articles about him on the pages of the periodical press.
