There in Moscow is taking place the jubilee XXX-th Moscow international book fair. There in the work of the exhibition participate the book dealers from more than 20 countries of the world. Kazakhstan is represented by National library of the RK and “Foliant” publishing house from Astana.
   Kazakhstani books and literature enjoy great popularity with Russian readers. Within the framework of implementation of the programme “Looking into future: modernization of public consiousness” for the advancement of Kazakhstani literature into the world cultural space there were carried out negotiations by director of NLRK Zh.T.Seidumanov aqnd there was achieved the agreement about the translation of the Kazakh authors into the Ukrainian, Byellorussian and Arabic languages.
   Also there was concluded the Memorandum on cooperation between National library of the RK and Russian state library. There were negotiations with the Moscow state university of culture about the preparation of cadres for the library branch of Kazakhstan.
