On October 19, 2017 there in the cinema-hall of E.Tursunov “The youth organization of the physically handicapped people “Zhiger” Ltd. Carried out the jubilee concert named “10 years of free assistance to the youth with invalidity” timed for the 10-th anniversary of their activity.
   The purpose: the popularization of the activity of non-government organizations that work with the youth with invalidity, engaged in the protection of their rights, their rehabilitation, adaptation and integration in society.
   “There in Kazakhstan the physically handicapped people still meet many different problems: beginning from the elementary ones but still topical” problems of transport and communication up to the issues of reception qualitative and accessible medical treatment, access to education and employment,» - says the president of the organization Parkhat Yusupdzhanov. The organization “Zhiger” for ten years already is engaged in the issues of integration of young people with special needs into different spheres of society. The full integration is possible on the condition of equal possibilities of access to the social, transport infra-structure, education, employment and information. The work for the invalids is not only a source of income but is also a way of self-realization.”  
   Regardless of all the obstacles in the formation of the organization during the 10 years’ time great assistance was rendered by the state and international organizations such as: the public foundation “BOTA”, Foundation Soros-Kazakhstan, UNO, the Foundation “Abilis”,
the Foundation of the First President – Leader of the Nation , the Department of employment and social programmes of Almaty city, the Department of internal policy of Almaty city,
the Department of Youth policy of Almaty city and many NGOs working the sphere of adaptation, rehabilitation and protection of the rights of the physically-handicapped people.
   There spoke: the Councilor of the akim of Almaty city on the issues of invalidity V.Yu.Alayev, Deputy of the Maslikhat of Almaty city and President of the Association of women with invalidity “Shyrak” L.M.Kaltayeva, head of the Department of employment and social programmes of Almaty city A.M.Akhmetova, Chairperson of the Almaty affiliate of the open society “The Kazakh society of the blind persons “KOS” K.S.Konyrbayeva and others.
