On July 10.2008 “The social consortium of the Assembly of the peoples of Kazakhstan” Public Foundation and the National library of the RK held a press-conference on the occasion of awarding creative grants to the winners of the republican competition for the best work of fiction among children and youth.

     By the decision of the Jury by the results of the competition selection the 2-nd place is given to Edige Tursunov and Kairat Zhanabayev (co-authors) for the artistic actualization of the Turkic mythology for the growing generation, the 3-rd place is awarded to Elena Alexandrovna Spitsyna for the development of literature for children of the adventure-cognitive genre and the stimulation of interest to the facts in world history.
