The National library of the RK together with the Institute of history and ethnology after Ch.Ch.Ualikhanov of the Ministry of education and science of the RK held the presentation of the books “The history of Kazakhstan through the eyes of professionals”.

    The workers of the Institute of history and ethnology for the first time carried out the analysis of the theoretical issues pertaining to the formation of the domestic historical school in Kazakhstan and elaboration of the methodological basics in history of Kazakhstan, problems of historiography.

   For the first time the scientists of the Institute elaborate the problem of the formation of Kazakh statehood from new positions, using the Turkic, Mongol, Chinese, Iranian sources and materials including those which found their place in the works of the European travelers that have never been used before and which were preserved in the form of maps, secret reports in the documents of the Vatican, in the archives of the kings of France and England.

    The presentation was accompanied by photographic illustration, posters, slide-show.

   The presented books were solemnly donated to the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
