16.09.2008 The press-conference and the opening of the Exhibition of the collection of Greek books of the XIX-XX cc. from the fonds of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exhibition is open to the readers and visitors of the Library till September 26, 2008.

       There at the press-conference participated Director-General of the National library of the RK Orynbassar Issakhov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the RK Mr.Christos Kontovounisios, the President of the Association of Greek societies of Kazakhstan P.Feodoridi, the doctor of science of the Athens University Elena Andreychenko.

       There at the press-conference took place the solemn handing over of the Congratulation address on behalf of the government of Greece to the Olympic 2008 champion in heavy athletics Kzyl-Orda dweller Illya Illyin.
