11.02.09 By the initiative of the Akimat of the Kzyl-Orda region, the former akim of the region and now the Minister of culture and information of the RK M.A.Kul-Mukhamed there within the

framework of the “Cultural heritage” State Programme, the “Foliant” publishing house began the publication of a series of books named “The library of Syr-Darya” (200 volumes) from 2008.

            On February 11, 2009 at 11-00 there in the Center of cultural programmes of the National library of the RK is held the presentation of the book exhibition “Syr-Darya kitapkhanasy – Syr elinyn zhaukhary”, where there are presented the published 92 volumes of the multi-volume publication of the “Biblioteka Syr-Daryii” series: the works of the writers and poets of the region, which the library received as donations from the Akimat of the Kzyl-Orda region.

            The “Biblioteka Syr-Daryii” book series are presented by the head of the department of culture of the Kzyl-Orda region B.M.Zhusipov, the director of the regional universal scientific library after A.Tazhibayev G.R.Sisekeyeva.

            There came into this series the works of the outstanding kuishi Korkyt Ata, the heritage of the great Oriental thinker Khodja Ahmed Yassaui  “Divani-Khikmet” translated by A.Mukhamedzhanov, “The 1001 nights” translated by K.Mukhamedzhanov, the works of the writer of the medieval times Nasreddin Rabguzi “Kisas-ul-Anbiya” translated from Ancient Turkic by A.Aripbayev, the works by N.Kenzhegulov, R.Batyrbayev, A.Egizbayev, the representatives of the Soviet pleiad of Kazak literature A.Tazhibayev, A.Tokmaganbetov, Z.Shukirov and also the series of books that represent the creative activity of the public figures who influenced the literature and history of the region: the brothers K. and A.Konyratbayevs, the creative activity of the modern writers and poets of the Syr-Darya such as D.Doszhan, K.Suenishev, A.Rakhymbekova, S.Esmakhanov, S.Ibrashev, K.Danabayev.
