On February 11, 2009 there at the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the presentation of the book by the prose writer Umit Tazhikenova “The vine of Tomarisk”. There into the collection entered: the novel “The axis of existence”, the stories, traveling notes, translations, publicist publications, peer-reviews, opinions and the essay “Making the preliminary summations”.

     The book was published in “Aleiron” typing-house. The design of the book was made by the artist T.Mukatova, there was used the portrait of U.Tazhikenova painted by the artist M.Mukatova-Mclane.
