| Director-General of the National library of the RK Orynbassar Issakhov signed the Agreement with the Director of the IFLA “Preservation and conservation” Core Programme Christiane Barile on the creation of the Regional PAC Centre for the Central Asia, which is to be responsible for the following geographical area: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. This Agreement is valid till December 31, 2009.
Director of the Centre for the study and preservation of documentary heritage of the NLRK Zarema Shaimordanova was appointed the Head of the Regional PAC Centre.
