   The electronic library “The modern literature of Kazakhstan” is conducive for the open access to the fond of modern Kazakhstani literature in the online regime. One of the main tasks of the library is to heighten the prestige of reading in our country through the familiarization of the population with reading, to attract the younger generation with the idea of reading and preserve our original culture. For the implementation of this task the National library of the Republic Kazakhstan holds different cultural activities for the popularization of book and reading. Among the activities there are presentations of new books. At these presentations the National library of the RK concludes the author agreements with the authors of new books.

   The project for the creation of the electronic library of modern literary editions is implemented from 2007. Dyuisenbek Nakipov, Ernest Torekhanov, Aslan Zhaksylykov are the first modern authors who concluded the author agreements with the library.

   The electronic library The modern literature of Kazakhstan makes it possible for the authors to have the possibility of free publication of their literary works in the Internet network on the basis of the author agreement. All the copyrights for the works belong to the authors and are protected by law.
